Renovations Begin at Wanderer

We’re excited to share our cabin with you as you relax and enjoy the beauty of the property. As we continue to renovate the cabin, we’ll share the progress through blog posts and pictures.

These pictures were removing the back and front decks, plus the laundry room. At first, with the front deck we had thought we just needed to install a railing but as we started to inspect the wood we discovered the wooden slats were too close together thus holding rain on the deck. Plus, why install a new rail on the old deck, we just went for it and had the entire deck removed.

The back of the house we knew must go. The laundry room and back deck were in such bad shape, we had no choice but to have that rebuilt. A bonus was the old heating duct that was buried in the roofline.
